A few days ago, the "other doctor" deployed to Japan. My husband is still at home. She left four children at home with her husband while my husband gets to stay with us. I don't know if it is fair or right. I am so relieved that he is still here. So sad that she is not with her family today. Please, always remember, the sacrifices military families make. Whether it be living far away from family, deployed from family, or just the unknown that seems to linger over all of us here on Base all the time. It is a life unlike anything I can ever put into words. How these people do it, I have no idea.
