Got an email from my friend Becky in the States. I sent her a box in the mail with some books she had loaned me in addition to some pass-along adoption books and a Turkish gift. And the box arrived EMPTY! I was so sad about this!! Nothing is irreplaceable but it makes me so sad that this happened. I have learned two lessons. (1) use a lot of tape -- okay Joni, you were right; I wonder if I taped it enough? (2) get insurance if you send anything valuable!
Bummer!
