As of today, Because of Isaac is nearing in on $6,500 for our first couple to adopt. How very exciting. We have received gifts in every denomination imagineable. From $10 to $100 to $500 to $2,000 donations! We even have some monthly pledges. Some weeks have been stronger than otherse but on average, Because of Isaac has continued to bring in about $160 a day.
Some friends recently asked me if I wanted to put a donation jar out at their yard sale. Of course I did! $150 came in! Today at MOPs, I was given the opportunity to share about the organization. What a great blessing that was!
Please, if you are a blog reader and have been blessed by this blog in any way, would you please consider making a donation to this organization. I am asking everyone to consider bringing in $100. That could be by giving $100 yourself or by sending in $10 and telling 9 people about us. Or if you can't give at all, try to find 10 people to give $10 each.
There are some who can give more. Some who can give less. $25,000 is our goal. That is 2,500 people giving $10. That is $250 people giving $100. That is such a doable goal.
If you can't give, please don't feel guilty, but even if you can't give, will you share the blog address: www.becauseofisaac.org or print and make copies of this handout to share at your own events: yard sales, MOPs, Bible Study, whatever. Word of mouth is our greatest tool

P.S. It appears our modem was "bad" and now that it is fixed, we should have consistent Internet. It's been 3 days of next-to-no service leaving me feeling terribly disconnected!
