Following up on JB's ultrasound from yesterday, I saw the Turkish OB today who confirmed in a matter of seconds that this one should wear pink. Go figure!
Yay!!!! So excited for you guys. Promise me you will not make her a complete tomboy, and will embrace the occasional dress. She is going to be so well cared for with two big brothers. So excited for you!
How exciting! And you never know, she might be really prissy. I have a girl cousin that has 3 older brothers and she won't go anywhere without a bow in her hair! And you don't always have to do dresses, they make really cute girl things. My daughter hardly ever wore dresses when she was little, but she still looked girly.
So exciting! So, Wendi, I'm curious if you are in need of anything for a girl? I've got two so I've got lots of stuff! I am getting things together for a moms2moms sale in March so much of my baby clothes, etc are going to be sold. If you are in need of anything (not sure how much you can get there), please let me know. I would be happy to send a bit to you. My second daughter was born in July so I have summer and my first daughter was born in November, so I also have winter. Let me know! Thanks, Angie
Congrats! There is NOTHING more precious than a little girl. At least Hans & I are completely head over heels for ours! You have lots of fun times ahead of you!
And...in my opinion, girls can be "tomboy" as in loving sports, but also embrace the dresses, hair bows and purses! Kaia is already falling into both of those categories and I love it!
CONGRATS!! I am so thrilled for you guys! You could even say I am tickled PINK.... How special that JB got to do the first ultrasound where you found out the sex!! A great story to tell later.
Angie, I am in need of EVERYTHING for a girl -- clothes wise. :) I have most "baby" stuff but not girl stuff and am open to everything. If I can't use it, there are tons of people on Base who can and I could pass it off to them easily.

Also, shipping here costs the same as in the U.S. You can do regular boxes or flat-rate priority boxes ($12.50 per box.) But the cost is identical to shipping within the USA as the military gets it to us for cost.
I know I'm a bit belated on this, but wanted to officially say how excited we are that you are joining the world of daughters. It is quite the drama-ride! :) You'll love it and what a blessed little sister this will be with two big brothers to watch over her throughout her life. Wish I could send a U-haul of girls clothes to you...I have TONS! :) YAY, for Wendi-Jr! Can't wait to see her sweet face on the blog soon!
