A Cold Birthday Day

I love our community. I love that my Pomegranate who is younger than her siblings and as a result, I don't do the normal kid stuff that I might have done with her older siblings. They aren't "in" to the stuff she is in anymore, so, truly, I depend on my community to help replicate some of those things.

She had the opportunity to go downtown for her friend Annabelle's birthday. Annabelle is one of three girls in the Denham family. We met them, a little oddly. They actually rented the Farmhouse I help manage and then they moved next to the Kotynski's and we have become good friends. They farm a lot like us as well. The girls even had a chance to visit the new candy store downtown that I have been meaning to go to.

I love, changing topics a bit, that downtown Greeneville is getting SUCH a facelift. They are really trying to make it a fun place for families to hang out. It's an old, super historic downtown. (I mean you can see a cannon ball lodged in the wall of a church from the American Revolution!) I'm hopeful that this growth continues.
