"I am seeing so many Praying Mantises on our farm lately. That is a great indicator that we are correctly managing our land... mantises need a healthy population of prey in order to live. We don't use any pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or any other synthetic chemicals which wipe out soil and pasture life, so we have intact and healthy food webs. Praying Mantises also eat many pest insects... natural, biological pest control ... Plus, I love that my 5-year-old has no fear!"
