Guts

I happened to see this picture on one of my former basketball players' Facebook page. She recently got engaged, and her boyfriend proposed by taking her to check out his "deer camera." Only, while they were there, they happened upon a grave marker. A grave marker for THEM! Not only did he put their new last name, he also put the DATE they are going to get married on it! Apparently Heidi had often discussed a general date she liked (both their parents share an anniversary) and he printed it on the marker. She wanted to get married close to that day. But they are getting married ON that day. It's also the same tombstone his grandparents' used. How cool is that.

I wonder how many people getting married today realize that when they walk the aisle this is actually what they are supposed to be vowing. They are vowing to have their names on the same tombstone!

And they say our younger generation is losing their value system. Go Heidi (and her boyfriend!)

That is such a sweet idea! And yes, it truly is sad to see our generations morals. :-(

LOL....I think you'd definitely want to know your sweetie before pulling that one! I'm glad she liked it though!

Our generation's morals are bad, but the worst part is that SOME of us, and then of course most of OUR KIDS have almost no ideal morals even MATTER or EXIST. Nobody's teaching the younger people anything anymore, it just keeps getting worse and worse. :(

while I "get it", I find it rather creepy. i would have been highly disappointed but if she loved it, then he knew his wife-to-be very well, and that's what is important.
