It has been an AMAZING three weeks having JB's parents here with us. They are due to leave the island on Monday. The Azores has not had a hurricane hit since 1998, and we are now facing our second storm in one year! The last one, did not hit Terceira. But it did do a lot of damage on São Miguel, another island included in the Azores. Terceira, and the other islands on the map above, are quite small and hard to see, but we are basically right smack in the middle of the red cone.
