Messages for Wendi

Hey everyone... I think JB is going to be officially updating the blog today with details, but it looks like Wendi will be in the hospital for a few more days.

So... (since I'm planning to see her this afternoon/evening) I was thinking that it would be cool if people could leave comments on here that I can print out and put in a big "get well" card for her from all of us! She's feeling pretty down, and I know she'd be encouraged to hear from "her people"!

What do you think? Can we do this?

(JB, don't tell her!)

I hope you feel better soon, Wendi. I know it's so hard for you to be in the hospital right now and I hope you go home really soon. Don't worry about anything with Isaac or at home. I am sure you have plenty of help and support and everything is in good hands. Focus on getting healthy and try to rest up!

Hey Wen!

Congratulations! Elijah Luke is very handsome. We cannot wait to meet him. I'm praying you'll be feeling better soon. Don't feel too badly if you cry a lot. Moms cry a lot on the post-partum floor. Totally natural. :)

Love you!

Dear Wendi, I hope and pray that you feel better very soon! I was looking for an encouraging Scripture for you from the book of Elijah when I realized there is no book of Elijah! I'm a doofus. How about I'll continue to pray for you, then. (And you can pray that my knowledge of Scripture increases.)

Love,
Amy

So sorry you're having to deal with the complications. As before, you know you've go so many people praying for you (including us). And as God has shown us time and time again, "prayer changes things" as the old saying goes. We're praying for a speedy and full recovery. Keep your chin up. And enjoy every selfish moment you can with your new little angel.

Hi Wendi!
You have been thru a lot in the last couple of weeks, considering all the contractions you had prior to Elijah's birth. So take this time to rest & heal, so you can soon be home with your babies.
This has been your dream for so many years, to have a baby and be a mom, and even though it hasn't been without it's trials, God never gives us more than we can handle. I know you're strong and you'll be up and about very soon, enjoying your wonderful family!!
Take care!!

Wendi, you are so strong! You are stronger than you realize, I'm sure. I'm sure both your boys and hubby are proud of you. What a trooper!
You'll be able to look back on this experience and tell it as beautifully as you do any other story, with great detail and insight to bless and encourage other people. For now, let JB and your family take good care of you.
You're in our prayers.
Lots of love,
Lauren T.
