Congrats Plan B Tara!

Charlie is here folks! Check it out: http://toplanb.blogspot.com/

After years of infertility and now a baby through surrogacy, I am unable to muster the words to explain how I know Tara and Dan are feeling.

If you haven't checked out the video I posted yesterday afternoon (below), I encourage you to. It will definitely tell you how Tara and Dan are feeling right now.

JB has the morning off so I'll hopefully post a "real" blog later. Sorry Tara (Bannana still good Tara). You won't have much "breakfast" material this morning.

Grr. And I'll probably have too busy a day/call night to read :(. But I did spend some time last night following Tara (Plan B)'s blog and Charlie's birth. How amazing. I was again crying (I haven't cried in months! What is this?!) :)

As if I haven't been crying enough already lately.

I want to ask you a question...in all seriousness! You have told me that you are going to name your daughter English. I have been counting on that for years. Will it be weird to have a little girl from China named English? Am I going to have to come to terms with the fact that you won't be using that name?

Just wondering. Trying to prepare myself.

I also can't decide what I want this child to call me. Aunt Ebby? Auntie E? Auntie, Queen of all?

So many choices. I am sure that I will come up with just the right name. I will let you know so that you can be training her to call me by the correct title. :)

Also, thank you for the encouragement yesterday. I really needed it and it made my day much brighter. Even though you are far away I know I can count on you to cheer me up and that you will have kind words for me.

Love you,

Ebby Ray

Yeah, you know Ebby, I LOVEEEE the name English, and I would still like to use it, but I think it would be almost cruel to name a daughter from China, English. So English may have to wait.

Most likely the child will have a name from China. We'd possibly like to incorporate that name into her new name.

We also have a "Nigeria" name that's been given to us for our future child. We'd like to use that someday as well. So many choices.

As for encouragement -- I'm just happy when people are happy and doing what they know they are supposed to be doing.

I LOVE YOU EBBS!

And Tara, quit the crying! Ha! Just kidding ...
