JB's Snaps

Well even our large church cancelled this morning! In my four years, I have never seen the town shut down like this. Instead of going to church, the Jones' (who have 4-wheel drive) took JB out and then reluctant Wendi for some local viewing of the beautiful snowfall. This also included helping to dig three different cars out of huge piles of snow. I think I saw that we have had 13.5 inches, and, folks, it is still coming down! Not only that but it is supposed to be snowing all week. Worry of floods is spreading as the snow continues to pile up.

How beautiful is this snow? (And yes, the last picture IS a car!)

For even more pictures of the snow (and some of our volleyball tournament), check out Kristen's blog entires:

hi wendi!

have you and JB ever gone snowshoeing or cross country skiing? you really should before you leave MN! especially now, with all this great snow and mild temps. i went snowshoeing for the 1st time this afternoon and it was fun! cross country skiing is more fun, i think, but snowshoeing is easier to do. if you go to oxbow park (in byron), i think they rent snowshoes...also, maybe quarry hill does, too. you could also go to tyrol ski and sports on 2nd street and rent some, then take them to a golf course.

Beautiful photos. I wore sandals in Dallas today. I'm kind of jealous. I like to wear wool at least through mid-March!
