Isaac Speaks from S. Florida
Today was a cool day in the life of Isaac. I think Ewijah and cousin Charwee liked it as well.
Today was the first day that Daddy was free from having to study for his big test. No studying for him! We decided to go to The Fort Lauderdale Museum of Science and Discovery. We went in "our dan" (aka "van") with our family. Papa was watching cousin Charwee today since her Daddy started a new job. They came in a separate car. The Museum was "Doni's" idea. And she lives right be it. So she came too in her own car.
We had so much fun! My Mommy said a field trip in the mornings is an important part of her sanity. She thinks that me and my brudder fight a bit too much if we are in the house together. I don't know what she's talking about, but I like the idea of field trips.
Want proof of how fun the museum was? Look no further. My "Doni" took pictures!
1. They have this cool area for kids to play. Even big kids. Like Daddy.

2. They let the grown-ups come in and play with us little kids. This is quite important as the grown-ups are the ones who can blow big bubbles that the little kids can pop. I liked the bubbles. But Ewijah liked them even more. Check him out:
3. I think bubbles are fun and all. But I think Ewijah got a bit carried away. Take a look at this picture below to see it for yourself. Chill out Ewijah.

4. They have a cool tree-house exhibit that is a lot easier to climb up than it is to climb down. I didn't waste my time with it because, well, I'm Isaac, and Isaac likes to do his own thing. I don't really appweciate when people try to get me to do something that isn't on my schedule. Proof of the fact that it was hard to climb down could be evidenced by the fact that my Mommy and Papa had to recruit a tiny teenager to go and retrieve Charwee from the throngs of the tree.

6. Having Daddy with us at the Museum was so exciting. He and I did a lot of fun things together. Here we are sending construction blocks up a conveyor belt. I was good at this.

7. Ewijah liked driving the car. He and Charwee would fight over it even though it had two steering wheels. Siwwy Charwee and Ewijah.

9. I often recruited "Doni" to do all the things that Daddy or Mommy didn't want to do. (Or things that they said they were "too big" to do. What's with that?) Here is Joni climbing through a tunnel. What a sport she is!

10. We brought just the one double stroller, but it worked perfectly. I did a good job walking when Charwee and Ewijah wanted to hog the stroller.

11. While everyone was busy in the tree house and with the bubbles and making orange juice, I spent most of the morning pushing this tractor round and round. Mommy had to talk me into giving turns to other kids, and while they rode, I pushed them! What a good sharer I am.

A word from the I-man

"So in case you are way behind in my world, let me introduce you to my little brother 'Cijah.' His real name is 'Elijah' and sometimes I sort of call him that. But mostly I call him 'Cijah.' My parents have gotten in on the act now too. In fact, a lot of people call this little pile of chub to my left 'Cijah.' now."
"Cjiah likes food. A lot. He likes milk. A lot. Here I am sharing my milk with him. I'm a good sharer. In fact, yesterday, when I went to the water park, I wanted the graham cracker AD had. So I took the granola bar I had in my other hand and yelled, 'I sharing.' Then I shoved it in Cijah's mouth. Cijah was happy 'cuz he got granola bar, and I was happy cuz I got some graham cracker. Cijah will eat anything. I give him all my food that I don't want to eat, and he eats it. What a great little brother, huh?"
"I have been teaching Cijah where his body parts are. Here I am showing him where his mouth is. He thinks this is quite funny."
"Here I am showing Cijah where his nose is."
"And ... here I am showing Cijah where his tonsils are. He didn't think this was quite so funny."
"Cijah often closes his eyes for no good reason. This causes him to run into things. Like a table when he has an inner tube around his neck. (Now THAT was funny!) Daddy says this reminds him of Mommy. When Daddy and Mommy went scuba diving, if Mommy got nervous, she'd shut her eyes. Then she couldn't see Daddy, and he couldn't communicate with her. Daddy said Mommy did this a lot. Just like Cijah."
"Cijah is quite a goofball. While I am pretty serious and down-to-earth, Cijah is quite passion. People call him a tank. Or they call him a bulldozer. Or they call him a bull."
"Cijah likes to give kisses. Here he is trying to give me one. But I am too fast for him! Speaking of fast ... when Mommy changes my diaper after my bath, I am pretty squirmy. She always says that she will do it 'super fast.' Today after my bath I ran away from her while she was trying to put my diaper on and said 'I super fast' back to her! Pretty smart of me, huh?"
"Here I am blocking a kiss again. This time I using the elbow technique instead of the dodge technique."
"You can't understand what Cijah says to me sometimes. But I know. In this picture he is asking me nicely to please let him have a kiss."
"And here I am agreeing to the kiss. I think when we are older, this won't be very cool. But for now, it's cool. I love my Cijah. He is my best friend. And my worst enemy. But I think that's normal for Irish brothers like we are."Wednesday, October 14, 2009
"Min-nie"
Yesterday, my Mommy turned on Mickey's Clubhouse. I never knew this existed! First of all, they don't let me watch TV, well, like ever, really. Secondly can you believe that "Min-nie" is not just in books?! He's on the TV too? I went up to the TV to try and give him a kiss as you can see from the picture above. "Min-nie" didn't seem to be phased at all by the kiss, but I stood and looked at him for about another five minutes. Wow! Saturday, July 11, 2009
I'm backkkkkk!!!
Man, I have been gone from my peoples way too long! But you know, when you are one, there is a lot going on in your life. I'm quite a busy kid. In the course of one day I have tons of milk to drink, diapers to dirty, naps to take, Scrubs to annoy, baths to play in, Daddy to hug, Mommy to play with, Elijah to entertain ... you get the idea. And that's not even counting all the books I have to read and have read to me and toys that need my attention. Man, being one comes with a lot of responsibilities.
So, what's been going on in my life?
Where to start, where to start ...
Well this past week has been really busy. First, we said good bye to my Uncle Keith and Aunt AD and hello to my Uncle Matt and Aunt Danielle. While I love my aunties, I really seem to like guys more. They are just sooo way cool. My Uncle Matt and Uncle Keith are the bomb!
On Friday, my new friend Addison came over to play. She lives in the house behind ours and was born two weeks before me. She is one cute little gal, and we play really well together. Our moms thought that it would be good we learn to play with kids our own age, so we are going to try and do it with a couple of other one year old kids in the neighborhood more often.
We also made some other new friends today. Zachariah and his wife Robyn came over for brunch this morning. Zachariah is a new first year resident, and they live on base. They are really cool folks. We spent most of Saturday hanging out with them and had a great time. I played with Zachariah quite a bit!
But other than my weekend report, there are a few other things to share, like all of the things I am interested in and accomplishing. Here are some of the highlights:
- I love to throw anything and everything over my shoulder, especially my blocks. I have no idea where I learned this from, but it sure is fun.
- I can now tell you what a cow says and have also added the word "eyes" (and the ability to point to them) to my repertoire. (Betcha didn't think I knew a word that big -- repertoire that is, not eyes. :)
- I am currently very into making car noises as I play with my toys.
- I have begun to climb. Daddy and Mommy found me on the desk chair leaning over the back of it yesterday. They had no idea I could do this and seemed very concerned. Take a chill pill guys! I am in control of the situation. I also hid from them in the shelves of my changing table. That was way fun.
- I really love my little brother. I still love to give him kisses and bring him toys. He loves to watch me too and laughs at me a lot.
- I am a great eater -- especially when it comes to fruit. I LOVE FRUIT! Watermelon is my favorite but pineapple, bananas, apples, oranges, and grapes follow close behind. It's really the best food group don't you think?
- I have begun to play at the new little park on the corner by my house but am not that into parks in general. Especially swings. They kind of spook me out still. But I'm getting the hang of it more and more.
- I am still 100% a Daddy's boy. If Daddy is home, I'm not that interested in my Mommy anymore. I say "Daddy" very clearly now but have decided to refrain from saying Mommy until I am good and ready. Other words include: Elijah, eyes, snack (na-na), and apple.
All right, I think that's enough of a look into my world for now. Mommy has said that Elijah may start a journal of his own but we'll see. So far, he isn't into the computer as much as me. But that might change.
Have a great weekend everyone!

I'm baaaccckkk!!!
Well folks, you've been asking for my return, and today, I give my fans what they wanted ... me. Isaac John Kit.I have so much to tell you all, and no idea where to begin.
Hmmmm ...
Well, let me start with the biggest news. My little brother Elijah turned eight weeks old on Saturday. And in celebration he decided to sleep through the night. He went to bed at 10pm and got up at 6am. Then last night, he did it again. This time he went from 9:30pm to 6:30am!I'm still not feeling this is very fair. I'm the big brother and I go to bed at 8pm! How does a little brother get to stay up later than me? Well, Daddy and Mommy insist that this is only temporary and these through-the-night sleeps are key to me getting to stay up later. I'll believe it when I see it.
Did I tell you all I have learned how to walk? I will do as many as ten steps by myself. I could do more, but right now, crawling is much faster. Man, I am a super fast crawler. You should see me. Open a door and I'll be there to crawl through in nanoseconds. This is especially difficult for Mommy when she is holding Elijah as she has to figure out how to get back out of the room with Elijah and me so as to not leave me alone in rooms that aren't completely baby-proofed. Today she resorted to picking me and Elijah up at the same time. That gave me a belly ache as she had to scoop me up under my armpits and squeeze my belly pretty hard to pick me up. She said it was a bad idea, and she doesn't plan to do it again. Anyways, I am a great crawler. My Daddy says I look like a rhinoceros when I crawl cuz' I stomp my little hands and feet so hard. They don't think I'm going to be known for my gracefulness. I think that's good because I am a boy! Duh!
Next topic. My favorite topic. The bathtub. Man, I looovvveee my baths. I could stay in there all night. Sometimes, however, when I get bored and am ready to get out, I have learned that if I do something in the bathtub, it makes everyone go crazy. Daddy yells, "Code brown" and pulls me out of the tub and sets me totally wet on the floor of the bathroom. Mommy comes running in to scoop up my toys and throw them in the sink to wash them. Then they bring bleach in and hose everything down while I crawl around completely naked in the bathroom. It's quite hilarious and a ton of fun. I've done it twice now. Two nights in a row. How cool am I?
All right so back to my new little baby brother. He's a pretty cool kid. My Grama Di taught me how to give him kisses. When I see him, I smack my lips, open my mouth wide, and turn away right before his forehead gets to me. That's how I kiss him. I also love to play with his toes. Mommy always says, "Gentle" when I come near him. I'm really trying to figure out what that means.
Another topic I love is Scrubby. Man that is one cool dog. He and I are becoming great pals. I have learned how to feed him from my high chair even though my Daddy and Mommy don't like this. I've also learned how to put toys in his mouth and put my face right next to his so that he'll lick me. I can't wait to get bigger so Scrubby and I can play more and more. Scrubs is super gentle with me and with my new baby brother.
My Mommy stays at home with us during the day. We do lots of fun things. We play with our toys in the living room a lot. We read books more and more because this is something I am enjoying more and more. We also go on a walk/run nearly everyday. I love this. I just sit there and watch everything and don't cry at all. Well, I cried that one time because Daddy drove by and said hi but didn't stop to walk with us. Sometimes we go over to the Bay so I can watch the doggies wrestle. Silly doggies! They are really funny together!
I'm not really talking much yet. I say, "hi" but I am not sure I know what it means. I say "Da da" too but to a lot of things, not just my Da Da. I also do sign language. I do the sign for "milk" and "all done" and "please". I am trying to learn "eat" and "thank you" also.
That's the extent of my life right now. I better get off of here and get back in my crib fast asleep before my Mommy sees that I have gotten away. Stay tuned for more in my life at a later date. And stay tuned for an Elijah journal at some point as well. He's nearly big enough to type now!
Bye everyone!

Isaac's Journal -- Eight months old!
- Play in my exersaucer
- Go to the bay or on a walk with Scrubs and Mommy
- Drink 4-5 bottles of formula
- Eat 2 jars of baby food
- Spit up a bit (but I'm getting better about this)
- Play on the floor in the living room (this is currently my favorite place to be)
- Take a bath (every other day)
- Sit in my swing (not as often as I used to)
- Play with my puppy (whenever he decides he wants to lay down by me)
- Play with my Daddy when he gets home in the evening
- Run errands with Mommy or Daddy
So, as you can see, that is a lot of stuff to do in just 7 hours a day! I really can't afford to take too much time to sit in front of the computer and participate in other frivolous activities. I really have to work to stay on task to get all my daily goals accomplished in the time I am awake.
As far as tasks, I have grown up a lot in the last few months. Some things on my list of accomplishments include:
- Drinking out of Daddy and Mommy's cup -- I am really quite skilled at this. I get quite upset when they walk into a room drinking out of a cup and don't share it with me. It's quite rude don't you think?
- Drinking out of my own cuppy -- I am actually not as skilled at this as I am using a regular cup. I can't seem to figure out how to suck out of the silly thing.
- Waving. I don't do it regularly, but I do on occasion. It's actually not really a wave but more like a "raise my hand in the air" gesture.
- Mimicking noises. I especially like to mimic kissing and growling noises of all kinds.
- Rolling from back to stomach. I especially do this in my crib so I can sleep on my tummy.
- Switching from a seated position to a lying on my tummy position.
- Trying to pull up. I have almost mastered this. I've done it once or twice but mastery should happen any day now.
- Turning to find my Daddy when asked "Where's Da-da?" I also can turn to find Scrubs when asked where he is. I'm still trying to figure out who Mommy is.
I currently am not interested in crawling. Don't worry. Apparently crawling is not a required milestone for children to reach, and it is perfectly acceptable for a child to skip crawling and go right to walking! Whew! That relieves some pressure!
I am actually considering skipping crawling. I am debating whether I want to make things easier on Mommy or harder on Mommy when new brother Elijah shows up. I'm still thinking about this one. I do scoot on my butt a bit and before long I'll be scaling the entire house standing up and holding onto things. I still think being on my stomach isn't the most fun so I may just forgo the whole crawling thing entirely. I'll keep you posted.
Daddy and Mommy have also been doing sign language with me. While I have yet to sign anything back to them (most kids start signing back in their eighth month and I just hit that today), I have definitely learned the sign for "milk" and will bounce up and down in anticipation when one of my parents shows me this sign. Maybe in a few weeks I'll do it back to them to indicate what I want. It might be easier than having to start whining to get them to figure out I am hungry.
Other than that, not too much is going on in our house right now. Well except the fact that my little brother will be here any day. It'll be interesting to see if he comes closer to my eighth month birthday or my ninth month birthday. We'll have to wait and see. I kinda hope he gets here soon because Mommy is really not very good at getting up off the couch while holding me anymore. It's quite a bumpy ride. She also doesn't push the stroller as fast or lay down by me on the floor as easily. Oh and sitting on her lap is not quite as comfortable. There's a big bulge in the way! Daddy promised me that once Elijah gets here, Mommy will soon get back to her normal, quicker moving self. Well I most certainly hope so.
All right, so how's that for an update? I'll be sure to drop back in when I turn nine months, if not before.
Peace out everyone!

Isaac is back!
Well folks! It's been awhile since you have heard from me. Mommy thought it was time for another entry from my journal and finally let me get on the computer. So, here I am.The first thing I want to write about is CARROTS. I think these are my new favorite food. Every time Mommy feeds me carrots, I get very excited, and I make sure to eat all of it so she knows how much I like it.
While we are on the topic of food, I enjoyed my first experiences with pears and prunes. However, I overheard Mommy and Daddy talking, and apparently, they do not plan on sharing those foods with me again for awhile unless I need them. I am not sure what that means, but apparently the fact that Daddy was forced to give me a bath to take care of some "problems" just a few hours after I had the prunes contributed to this discussion. Daddy said he would prefer to not have to deal with that "problem" again for awhile. Not sure what that is all about, but I guess pears and prunes are off the menu for awhile.
My favorite activities have shifted a bit since I last wrote. My swing has really been replaced by my exersaucer and by sitting on the couch (with the footrest pulled up close in case I decide to roll which, by the way, I think is totally overrated) or on the floor to play with my toys. I still sit in my swing sometimes, especially when I am a bit tired.
I don't cry in my crib at all. If it is time to lay down or get up, I just like to talk. What's the point of crying when talking will get my Daddy and Mommy to come visit me just the same? Actually, the only time I cry is when I am on my belly. I hate to be on my belly and wish these folks would quit putting me there. If I am in a cranky mood, hungry, tired, or in stinky pants, I prefer to "growl" ("like a velociraptor," Daddy says) or just yell really loud. Again, crying wears me out so unless I am on my belly, I avoid that activity.
There is still nothing that makes me smile as much as Scrubby. I especially like to sit on Mommy's lap and help her shine the flashlight. Sometimes Mommy asks me to stop kicking her so much during this game, but I can't help it! It's so fun to watch the light and my puppy all at once.
Right now it is early in the morning on Thursday. My Mommy is getting ready to go see her doctor while I hang out with Daddy who got in around midnight from his job for the month in Pensacola. Mommy hasn't felt very well for the last few days and Dr. G. said she would like to check her out and see why her stomach is bothering her. We all think everything is fine, but if you think of it, please pray for my Mommy to feel better. She's been pretty worn out the last few days.
Okay, I think that's all I have to say. Until my next entry folks!

Isaac's Journal
Tomorrow we are leaving on another trip. I know what you are thinking! Man you guys travel a lot! I agree. In my short life I have already been on a plane to Minnesota and to Illinois. I have also taken a road trip to Amelia Island and Fort Lauderdale. I think that's a lot for someone who is almost five months old. I'll be five months in just a few days. Can you believe it?
So what is going on in my life? Well, let's see. Some of my favorite things are sitting in my blue cushy seat. (And no, silly Rachel, they don't make those for grown-ups! Only Babies!) I mostly like to sit in this seat when I am eating dinner with my parents or watching my fishies in the fish tank or helping my Daddy in the kitchen. I am starting to like my exersaucer. And my toy gym is always popular. But of course, my two favorite things in the whole world are walking in my stroller or sitting in my swing. Life doesn't get much better than that! I also like riding in the car. Sometimes I cry when I am being strapped in, but as soon as the engine starts, I am really happy. It's a great time for a nap too.
My least favorite thing is tummy time. I hate being on my tummy. I haven't rolled over yet. My doctor says this is due to my fatness (okay, so I am a little bit overweight) and my content-nature. I'm usually happy so why roll over? But now that I think of it, I am not happy on my stomach. So maybe I'll think a little bit more seriously about that whole rolling over thing.
Another thing I love -- watching Scrubby. He is such a crazy puppy. He likes to lick me a little bit too much. But I see them coming and I squint my eyes before he can get me. I also like to watch Scrubs wrestle with his best friend Deuce at the bay every morning. That is really fun too. Except when the bugs are out. Those little gnats bug me sometimes.
I'm eating rice cereal now. It's good. I eat really well. I hear Daddy say it is almost time to try me on some baby food. Daddy said he is going to make some of this himself. Mommy says, "More power to you." I don't think Mommy likes to cook very much. Actually I don't think she likes to cook at all. Except waffles. I see her make waffles sometimes. Oh and grilled cheese too. But I think that's it.
I also lovvveeee when my Daddy gets home in the evening. We make grunting noises at each other and do karate and I rub his whiskers. He's a great Daddy. I like my Mommy too, but I see her a lot. When Daddy comes home, I just want to see him. That's the best part of road trips. Mommy and me get Daddy all to ourselves for a couple of days. I love that!
This road trip is extra special because on Monday morning, we are going to see a guy in a big black gown, and he is going to make me a Kit. forever! I mean, we all knew it was forever, but this guy will sign the papers that say that I get to live with these cool people forever. I'm so thankful to my birth parents for giving me such a great home and giving me to parents who like to kiss me and hug me a lot. I can't wait for Monday!
Okay, well, it's getting late and I'm getting tired. I don't type as fast as Mommy so this takes me a little bit longer than it would take her. (She's a fast typer.) I'll make sure Mommy posts some pictures from this weekend so that you can see me with all my family and with the judge and with my new birth certificate. That's going to be sooo cool.
See you later alligators!

Isaac's Journal entry: Man I am growing fast
I am excited about growing up. In fact, I hope to one day be as big and cool as my buddy Keenan. Here he is hanging out with me at his house.
In other news, Mommy mentioned that I had a rough few days. That's true. Wednesday night at Bible Study I decided that I had had enough! I was sick of not being at my own house and decided to tell everyone about it. So I screamed for quite some time. This surprised my Daddy and Mommy since I never really scream. Most of the time I just sit and laugh and smile. However, as soon as they put me in the car I was happy and started talking and laughing -- all I wanted was to be back at my own house. Is that so much to ask?
Thursday I cried more than usual again. Daddy thought maybe I had a tummy ache, but I think this was just because I missed my Daddy. He came home and surprised us for lunch, and I decided to fall asleep in his arms to show him how much I missed him. Mommy went to Sarah's house for a party last night, and it was just me, Daddy, and Scrubs hanging out. I didn't cry even one single time. Why would I? I had Daddy all to myself. We hung out in the living room, I got a bath, and he gave me dinner.
Anyways, I'm finally back in my groove! Vacations screw you up a bit, but I'm still the same old Isaac -- with just a few more rolls to add to my belly! :)
P.S. I also wanted to wish a happy birthday to my Grama Medema and my Uncle Eddie!

Daddy's home -- (Isaac's Journal)
My Daddy is home! He actually got in a little early so he was waiting for us when we walked into the terminal. It is so nice that he was right at the Fort Walton Beach airport just five minutes from our house.I was really happy to see him, but I was really sleepy too. So I took a nap when we got home. Then I woke up and Daddy fed me and played with me. I showed him how much I am talking and making noises and we all looked at pictures of Daddy's trip and our time here while Daddy was gone. Our neighbor Aimee came over. She had just heard the news that Mommy was pregnant and wanted to go crazy in our living room. So she did!
Scrubby was so excited to see Daddy. He went crazy too and was jumping all over the place. He was so excited to see Daddy, he didn't even stop to say hi Mommy on his way out of his kennel which isn't usually how it goes. When Daddy went to go get his luggage out of the van, Scrubby jumped inside. I think he wanted to go for a ride!
Today is another exciting day. My Grampa and Grampa Kit. are coming to see me. Uncle Ray, Aunt Gabbi, and my only two cousins are coming too. How cool is that?! We are going to have a good time. I think we are going to take a boat out this weekend. Mommy and Daddy aren't sure how much I'll like having a life jacket on. I agree! But Scrubby gets to come with us so it should be fun.
Daddy said maybe he'll try to do a post on his trip to Colorado. We'll see! Right now I'm just glad he is home! He did have to go to work today, but I'll have him to myself all weekend. Yay!

Isaac's Journal -- shot day!
Here I am with my band aids after getting my shots. I got three shots and some other liquid in my mouth which actually didn't taste bad at all. Pretty cool looney tune band aids, huh?!

Oh and here's a close-up of the shirt I wore today. (Sorry for the burp-up on it. I can't help it. I'm a baby.) I think my Aunt Gabbi and Uncle Ray gave me this shirt? Is that right? Mommy wasn't positive when I asked her. (You can also see my big-o-belly in this photo as well, so please ignore that too.)

Isaac's Journal #2

The first news?! My Grampa Coach is here! Grampa Coach is awesome! He likes to hold me a lot. He talks to me and makes me smile. He makes funny faces and laughs at my funny faces. I always know he will give me back to Mommy if I leave a messy surprise behind so whenever I am ready to go back and visit Mommy, I make sure to do just that. Grampa Coach also gave me a bottle yesterday. He didn't burp me, but he did feed me. He did a good job.
Grampa Coach and my Mommy and me ran a bunch of errands on Saturday while Daddy was fixing people. Mommy kept saying she was really glad to get out and run all these errands because they had been on her list for a long time. She got some Benadryl from Publix for my puppy Scrubs, she got some furniture raisers so she doesn't have to bend over my changing table as far, and she got some presents for some birthday parties I get to go to soon. Oh, and she also got some storage bins to put my newborn clothes that I am slowly starting to outgrow! We also had lunch at Longhorn. I decided that the moment we sat down was a good time to be ready to wake up and eat so Mommy mastered the art of one handed salad eating. Not too shabby!
Mommy said that my night last night was decent but not the best. That was because I decided to wake up in between feedings and express my frustration that my burrito had been kicked off of me by, well, me. I like to kick it off, but then don't like being cold. I have learned that if I turn on my lungs, Mommy will fix it for me! All she had to do was rewrap me, and I was ready to fall back to sleep. She also mumbled something about Scrubs waking her up having some sort of very loud dream. So I guess those two awakenings, on top of my 3am feeding, meant the night was just decent. I'm going to try to do better tonight, but overall my Daddy and Mommy tell me that I am doing a very good job at this baby stuff.
Speaking of Daddy, he has been gone a lot, but I got to spend a little bit of time with him this morning when he came back from his call night. He gave me a bath and put me down for my nap. By the time I got up from my nap, Daddy was taking his, so I'll have to wait until later this evening for more Daddy time. Even though I don't see him very much, my Daddy is awesome! He's a little frustrated that he can't spend more time with me right now, but this too shall pass!
My puppy Scrubs is pretty awesome too. While I was taking a nap with Daddy today, Grampa Coach and Mommy took him to the dog park. They are also going to take him to play Frisbee in the water when Daddy wakes up. That's because today is bath day. Scrubs gets to play at the dog park and the beach on bath day in exchange for having to get into the tub afterwards which doesn't make him too happy. As soon as they trap him in the bathroom, his tail goes between his legs, and he tries to hide in the corner, which doesn't really work since he is a really big dog and the bathroom is a really little bathroom.
Scrubs takes good care of me. He is still working on following directions. He knows what "No lick" means but only listens when the stars are aligned perfectly.
