We Bought a Farm: Help galore!

A Youth Group from Michigan is coming to help us at the farm all next week! It's a long story how this all came to be, but may I just say that God truly knows your needs before you even have a chance to utter them. There are so many things to do here on the farm. JB is working a full-time job at the hospital, and even with his parents here, the tasks are well beyond what we are capable of. We are so happily busy!!!

Enter a youth group coming to the area to help some other people. They had more kids than this other place needed and so they are sharing some of them with us. Well not just some. We are expecting 30 people for five days! Wowzers!

In addition, we have a recent college graduate coming to visit us in August. He is interested in coming to work at the farm in a sort of "internship" position. Permaculture is a new and emerging field, and individuals interested in gaining experience need to look for places they can learn. This young man knew of JB through his blog and tracked us down to see if we might have a room and board job for him. We're going to have him come out for a few weeks and see if we may be able to figure out a way to make this work for all of us.

Many more updates on both of these fronts to come!
