Theresa goes home

JB's last remaining grandparent, Theresa (her Dad's mother) went home to be with her Savior yesterday. Her husband, Ray, passed away in October of 2008. While her death was very expected, it is still always hard to say good bye to someone forever. Pray especially for JB's Dad and Mom as they were taking care of Grama during the last months of her life. Mom was her primary caretaker, and while hospice was there, she stayed at home with them and died in their house yesterday morning. Mom found Grama just shortly after she had left this earth.

Here are the last pictures we took of Grama when we visited home before moving to Turkey.

So sorry for your family's loss! It is hard to lose a grandparent at any time, but especially when you don't live close enough to attend the funeral. This is an unfortunate sacrifice of living overseas for a time. My prayers are with the entire K family!

Sincere condolences to your family. My husband just lost his grandmom earlier this month, too, so I know a little bit how you feel. Your family is in my thoughts.
