Adana Mosque

Another weekend with some gorgeous weather and so we decided to take advantage. The five of us headed to downtown Adana. The 2nd largest mosque in Turkey is located there, and it surrounded by gorgeous parks on all sides. We packed a picnic lunch and took off! It's only about a 20 minute drive. Hard to believe we haven't done this before. But like I said, the summer heat, a lot of extended travel, followed by just learning the ropes here and me getting so sick, delayed our exploration of the local area.

A real dichotomy here. The gorgeous park with the Adana condomoniums in the background.

The boys enjoying the park. Veronica caught Elijah mid-jump.

Most Turkish weddings seem to actually be more "American" in scope. This wedding dress was much more formal than what I had seen. Maybe Rana or Jake knows if this is simply because they were at the Mosque that she was so covered?

How amazing is that? Great pic Veronica!
