One of our garden projects this year is to trial multiple varieties of watermelon. Eating all these watermelons will be tough, but sometimes sacrifices have to be made in the name of science. This is part of our ongoing local garden project of determining which varieties grow best in our specific climate, conditions, and management... and which ones we like best!
