Homeschooling Packing Party

If I have said it too many times, I'm sorry. But I just have to.

I love homeschooling with my cousin's family. It truly has been a game-changer for us here.

It isn't perfect. (What is?) There are arguments and drama and glitches and hiccups and frustrations.

But generally? It's wonderful

I love the community, the friendship, the camaraderie, the teamwork, the

I especially love that God has brought the perfect family along to do this with. Oh what an immense blessing they are.

On Friday we took our school day to have an "Operation Christmas Child" shoe box party. Hannah went and did the shopping which made me sooooo happy. Shopping doesn't bring me joy. It never does. It's always something that hangs over me that I have to get done.

But Hannah likes it.

So she shopped. And each kid did their own box and packed it for a child of the same sex and same age. Aunt Hannah also had the idea to write letters to their people.

We had a wonderful morning and followed it with lunch, planting garlic, and watching Tuck Everlasting since we had just finished reading the novel.

Here are some pictures from our packing party:

My boxes are already packed, but I'd love to know what you put in yours. I can see a bunch of stuff in the pictures, but I'm always needing new ideas.
