Going Away Party for Dunhams

Last night, I hosted a going-away party for the Dunham family:

On Saturday evening, I hosted a Going Away Party for the Dunham family here at the farm. My Aunt Jan spearheaded the operation with Aunt Betsy (John's mom's sister) and John's mom on the planning committee. Here was our team:

Tante Jan, Aunt Betsy, Grama Mary, and me
We decided to recreate an old photo of four of the kiddos.

I have no idea what Abigail is doing here with me and Maryah.
Uncle Ed (aka "Bapa") and Tante Jan. I am so blessed that Uncle Ed and Aunt Jan chose to retire to our hills here in East TN. That process started years before when Eddie and Hannah (their son and daughter-in-law) chose to move here from Asheville back in 2018. Their daughter, Cara, is now in Knoxville too so all of her family is close by.
I am sure this isn't all the kiddos that were here but this was the majority of them. All of these people are connected to the Dunhams and have poured into them during the almost-year they have been here in East TN.
On Christmas Eve, I had planned a fun game to play with the Dunhams, and then Zach went and got sick. So I redid the game today for all the kiddos. It involves throwing a ball into a box and winning a prize.

We never take pictures together so here is a close-up
I love me some Zach-aroni
Zach and one of his many buddies. He's a super likable and kind kiddo.
After the party was over, a few people hung around fora while including Ana and Kari who I always love having around.
Lots of memories with these four kiddos.

Here is a fun video of Zach with his baptism story. They show some of this on the Pulse at church, but they only showed a little bit of it so he shared the whole thing with me, personally :)
