It might take a few years but it DOES get better. <br />I read an article once that talked about having small children was like being a dog/puppy owner. They love you unconditionally. They are always happy to see you. They always greet you with affection. Then one day you wake up and you have somehow become a cat owner. They look at you with disdain. They arch their back and hiss when you talk to them. They completely ignore you. But one day, your kids will come home for a visit and when dinner is over they will tell you to sit while they do the dishes. That's when you know you are a dog owner again! <br />Hang in there!
