Elijah, God's Might Prophet is another of the I Can Read books from Zonderkids. Told in the tradition of the bestselling NIV Adventure Bible, the story accurately portrays the Bible story of Elijah -- a prophet who needs to convince a stubborn kind and the Israelites that God is greater than anyone, including the god Baal.
With pictures by David Miles, this story fits very appropriately into the level 2 readers: high-interest stories for developing readers. I love these books and you will too! I really think parents add these readers to their library: teaching the Bible and reading all in one!
